Mrs. Fisher was born in Wurtenburg, Germany, November 24, 1866, and came to this country with her parents who settled at St. Paul, Minn., in 1882. She married John Miske of Ionia county at Ionia in 1894 and settled on a farm in this county. Mr. Miske died in September 1918. In April 1927 she was united in marriage to John Fisher of Lake Odessa. She was an active member of the Congregational church. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter Mrs. Hannah Tasker in Lake Odessa, one son Walter in Woodland township, three grandchildren, one brother Karl Graul at Portland and three sisters residing in St. Paul. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Wortley & Baine chapel. Interment was made in Lakeside Cemetery. Subsequent Publication - Thursday, February 18, 1943 Louise Graul, daughter of Ernest and Johanna Graul, was born November 24, 1866, in Bennuing, Germany, and died Monday, February 8, at the age of 75 years. She came to this country with her parents who settled in St. Paul, Minn., in 1892. She was married to John Miske of Ionia county at Ionia in 1894 and settled on a farm in this county. Mr. Miske died in September 1918. In April 1927 she was united in marriage to John Fisher of Lake Odessa. Mrs. Fisher was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran church and the Lutheran missionary society at Ionia, also the Skentelbury division of the Lake Odessa Congregational church. Her thoughts of pleasure for others won her many friends. Besides her husband the deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hannah Tasker in Lake Odessa, a son Walter Miske in Woodland township, and three grandchildren; also a brother Karl Graul in Portland, Mich., two brothers in Germany, a sister in North Dakota, and three sisters in St. Paul, Minn., and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon of last week at the Wortley & Baine chapel with the Rev. R. A. Rook, pastor of St. John Lutheran church in Ionia, officiating. Interment was made in Lakeside cemetery.
