She had received hospital treatment at various times but was taken to the hospital in Greenville only the day before. As Pearl Hansen Dawes, she was born at Entrican October 19, 1900, the daughter of Tom and Nellie Dawes. She was married to Donald Fisk in May 1919 and had lived at the Fisk farm northwest of the city most of her married years. She was a former member of the Episcopal Church, a member of Otisco Extension Club and the Country-Town Club. Left to mourn their loss are the husband, and one daughter, Mrs. Elwood Zeigler, at home, her mother, Mrs. Nellie Dawes and one sister, Mrs. Hazel Bradford, both of Manistee. Funeral services were held at Fales Huffman Chapel Sunday at three o’clock with Rev. H. S. Ellis officiating and burial was in Otisco cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Connolly, Norman Lee, Elwood Zeigler, Sy Dehn, Kenneth Hamilton and Ransom Braman.
