The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 15, 2008

June Fitch, age 83, of Lowell and formerly of Lyons passed away Feb. 12, 2008 
in Lowell.  She was born June 26, 1924 in Ionia the daughter of George and 
Hazel (Borton) Miller.  June married Bert Fitch Sept. 23, 1945, and he 
preceded her in death in 2005.  She graduated from Lyons High School, attended 
Lyons-Muir Church, was a member of Lyons VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was an 
artist.

June is survived by her daughter, Gail (Dan) Davis of Lowell; grandchildren, 
Josh (Becca) Fitch of Lowell, Laura (Rick) Whitney of Florida, Mike (Tammy) 
Prebble of Lowell and six great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by 
her husband; parents; two daughters, Jaqueline and Michelle and brothers, 
Clifton, Roy and Glenn.

Funeral services will beheld Friday, 1 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Muir with 
Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Interment Keefer Cemetery.  The family will 
receive friends and relatives 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral 
home.
