Fitch, cupola tender at Arnold’s foundry, died quite suddenly at his home in South Ionia at 9 o’clock Tuesday. He worked as usual Monday, quitting at p.m., but took to his bed immediately on reaching home. Cerebral hemorrhage was the cause of death. He was 56 years old, and leaves wife and three young children. He had been employed at Arnold’s for several years and owned the place where he lived. A sister in Portland and a brother in California also survive. Funeral from the home on Thursday afternoon, hour not fixed.
