Miss Fitzgerald was born in Ionia and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Fitzgerald. Her father, who died 15 years ago, had been employed for many years by the P.M. car shops. Mrs. Fitzgerald died about five years ago in her daughter’s home in Saginaw. A brother, Fred Fitzgerald, was killed at the age of 19 in the Salem train wreck, a P.M. excursion between Ionia and Detroit. The wreck occurred 37 years ago. Mrs. Fitzgerald was with her son at the time but was not injured. Miss Fitzgerald moved from Ionia 30 years ago to be a hat designer in a shop owned by Miss Louise Reif. Survivors are three cousins, John J. Fitzgerald, Mrs. Frank Egan and Miss Esther Carten of Ionia.
