Fitzgerald, 56, 434 East Lincoln avenue, a brakeman for 35 years on the Pere Marquette and C and O Railroad, died suddenly at his home at 10 p.m. Thursday, November 30. He was born May 10, 1894, in Ionia and made this city his life’s home. He was a member of the K of C lodge and a former member of the L.O.O.M. Mr. Fitzgerald was a veteran of World War I. He leaves his wife, Ethel; one daughter, Mrs. Hollis Duell, of Hawaii; two grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ina Barones of Portland, Oregon. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Rosary will be said at 2 p.m. Sunday at his residence.
