Funeral services for Edward Fitzpatrick, highly esteemed and long-time resident 
of Hubbardston, were held Saturday morning from St. John’s church, 
Hubbardston.  The Rev. Father James Fitzpatrick, a nephew, assisted the Rev. 
Fr. Flanagan and the Rev. Fr. Rosebrook of St. Johns.

Mr. Fitzpatrick, who was 82 years old, died at the farm home northeast of 
Hubbardston Wednesday evening.  He had been in poor health for several years, 
but his death, which came unexpectedly, was due to bronchial pneumonia.
