April 14,1898 BURIAL OF FERGUS FLANAGAN Fergus Flanagan, who died at his farm home in Orleans township on Tuesday, was buried from the Catholic church of SS. Peter & Paul, in this city today, and the funeral ceremonies were very largely attended. In his death the county has lost a good citizen; he was one of that class of men of whom it can be truthfully said, the community was better for having lived in it. He was one of the stable men of his town, thoroughly honest and honorable. He was aged 78 years at the time of his death. A widow and a large family of children, all grown to mature years, are left to mourn the loss of a good husband and father, and his neighbors will remember him as a man of kindly impulses and friendly deeds. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery in this city. The bearers were from among his church friends in this city; John Schild, Michael Bolen, Edward McGowan and John Dehn.
