Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, Nov. 16, 1935

Nathan A. Flanders, 51, died at his home, 550 Bayard street, Friday afternoon 
following an illness of the past 17 years and a confinement to his bed for the 
past two months. He was born in Sumner, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis H. 
Flanders and was united in marriage to Miss Annetta Pawson in 1905. they have 
resided in Ionia for twenty-nine years. He was electrician for the Bell 
telephone company and for the old electric light company.

Survivors are the wife, Annetta Flanders, three children, Virginia, at home, 
Russell, of Lansing, and Willis, of Ionia, one grandchild, one brother, William 
Flanders, of Lansing, and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Caril, of Elwell, and Mrs. 
Etta Dunshee, of McBain.

Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with 
Rev. Paul L. Stewart officiating and interment at the family lot at the Balcom 
cemetery.
