Born in Greenville March 18, 1950, he was the son of Ruth and John Flanigan. He had been employed for 15 years at Greenville Products and Had been a member of the Michigan National Guard, Greenville, for 20 years. He was also a member of the Greenville American Legion Post. Surviving are two daughters, Christa and Mindy Flanigan, both of Palo, his mother, Mrs.Gerald (Ruth) Watson of Greenville; two brothers, James Flanigan and John Flanigan of Belding; a sister, Mrs.Michael (Ellen) Bunting of Belding; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Peetsch of Romeo; and a special friend, Valerie Hyms. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, the Rev. Gene Sickler officiating. Burial will be n Rest Have Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Memorial has been established for the Belding Library, in care of the funeral home.
