The sermon was by Rev. H. D. McCarthy and the bearers were Messrs. Frank and Louis Hall, Lou Morse and Mr. Flannagan, brother of the husband of the deceased. Many friends were in from the country to attend the funeral. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Hall, 36 years of age, and besides her husband she leaves one child three years old. Her death is cause for sorrow among a wide acquaintance. Subsequent Publication: Thursday, August 27, 1908 One of the saddest incidents that ever happened in Banner grange or vicinity is the death of Mrs. F. T. Flanagan (nee Alma Hall) which occurred last Saturday evening at their home in Orleans. In her earlier life, she was not the most robust but for the past two years has been in extremely poor health. She was a beneficiary member of the A.O.O.G. and Court of Honor at Orleans, and has been a member of Banner grange for sixteen years, serving most faithfully in each at all times. It seems hard to know that she no longer is with us in our efforts. None knew her but to love her and we are happy in this thought that our loss is her gain. Though she has gone from our midst we will always have in our minds the pleasantest memories of her most beautiful life. The beautiful and numerous floral pieces alone showed the high esteem and love of her friends. Alma, oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Hall, was born July 14, 1876, and married to Fergus T. Flanagan Sept. 20, 1899. To them was born one child, Mildred Kathleen, who will be four years old Sept. 20. The funeral was largely attended from church of SS Peter & Paul Tuesday morning at 9:30. Interment in Catholic cemetery. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/f/flannaga6545nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/mifiles/ File size: 2.4 Kb
