Flegler, 82, died at his home at 640 West Washington street Monday morning at 3:45 o’clock after an illness of two weeks. He was born in Germany April 29, 1855. He married Dorothea Spielman February 29, 1878, who died in June 1930. He was a member of the St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran church and served as secretary-treasurer of the German Arbieter hall for several years. Survivors are three nieces; Mrs. Clara Thompson, Mrs. Alvina Gebhardt and Mrs. Herman Flegler, all of Detroit; two nephews, Herman Flegler, of St. Johns and Andrew Flegler, of Lansing. Funeral services will be held at 640 West Washington street Wednesday afternoon, at 2:30 o’clock, with Rev. R. A. Rook officiating. Burial will be at the family lot at Highland Park. Subsequent Publication, Thursday, September 30, 1937 Funeral services for Andrew J. Flegler, 82, who died at his home on West Washington street Monday morning after an illness of two weeks, were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock with Rev. R. A. Rook officiating. Pallbearers were John and Charles Klenk, Frank Carten, John Utess, Peter Krieger and Ben Banhagel. Interment was at Highland Park.
