Mrs. Flegler fell December 17 and broke her hip. Since that time she has been a great sufferer, and a few weeks ago had to submit to an abdominal operation. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. B.H. Succop from the home, 640 West Washington street, Friday afternoon at 2:30 and interment will take place in Highland Park cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Flegler came to this country in 1882, locating in Riley Clinton county, and came to Ionia over 35 years ago. Two children were born to them before they left the fatherland, but both of these died in infancy. Peter Diehm, a cousin, is the only near relative living in Ionia. She was a member of the German Lutheran church and as long as her health would permit was active in different branches. ------------ The funeral services for Mrs. Andrew Flegler, who died Tuesday evening, were conducted from the home, 640 West Washington street, Friday afternoon by Rev. B.H. Succop, pastor of the German Lutheran church, and the interment followed the services and took place in the Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. E.R. Rehfuss and Miss Doris Rehfuss cared for the flowers and Mrs. Minnie Karnatz and Mrs. Peter Diehm provided the music. The bearers were Herman Schlosser, E.R. Rehfuss, John Spitzley, John Waidelich, John Utess, and S.A. Lindley.
