Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 25 Aug 1960

Funeral service for Dr. John W.C. Fleming, 89, will be held Friday afternoon at
2 o’clock from the Pewamo Methodist church.  Burns funeral home of Carson City
will have charge of the service and burial will be in East Plains cemetery.

He died at his home Tuesday afternoon after being a practicing physician in
Pewamo more than 60 years.  He was a member of the Michigan State Medical
society, Scottish Rite of Grand Rapids and a life member of Pewamo lodge F&AM.

He is survived by one son, Jack.
