                                JACK A. FLEMING

MUIR-Jack A. Fleming, 75, of 145 S.State Street, Pewamo, died  Saturday in Ionia 
Manor.

Born Aug. 10, 1911 in Pewamo, he was the son of Dr.John and Maude Fleming. He 
was graduated from Pewamo High School in the Class of 1928 and received a 
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University in 
1933.

He was a salesman for A.C. Spark plug and General Motors, Flint, retiring in 
1966.

A member of theLyons Lodge ofMasons, he also belonged to the Flint Power 
Squadron and the first chapter of Society of Automotive Engineers.

Surviving are two cousins, Earl Studt of Pewamo and James Fleming of Berkeley, 
Calif.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hull Memorial Chapel, Muir, 
with the Rev.Paul Carmichael officiating.

Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery, with Masonic graveside services.
