T. Fleming, a wealthy farmer living about two miles north of this village, had died very suddenly of heart disease. He was in the barn helping put away his crop of wheat, when he dropped to the floor and expired. Dr. Taylor was sent for at once, but upon his arrival found that Mr. Fleming had been dead fully twenty minutes. The deceased had not been feeling well for a couple of days. He was about 57 years of age and leaves a wife and two daughters. The funeral was held from the residence on Wednesday at 10 o’clock a.m. Rev. Johnson, pastor of the M. E. church, conducted the services, and the remains were interred in the South Boston cemetery.
