The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, March 30, 1970


Roy Fleming, 87, 8334 Rickert road, in Keene township, passed away late 
Saturday evening in Belding’s community hospital.  Born July 20, 1882 in South 
Boston township, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron L. Fleming.

He moved to Saranac in 1912, where he attended school, later becoming a farmer 
and made his home at the present address the past 45 years.

Surviving are one step-daughter, Mrs. Larry Hartman of Saranac; one sister, 
Mrs. Anna Tapley, Saranac; two step-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. April 1 from the Morris-Roetman funeral 
home in Saranac.  Burial will be in South Boston township cemetery.
