Henry G.  Flessner, 89, a retired Woodland farmer, died Monday night at
Ferguson-Droste hospital in Grand Rapids after a short illness.  He was born in
Cullom, Ill., February 17, 1883, the son of Henry and Mary Becker Flessner.  He
attended North Central College at Napersville, Ill.  In 1921 he was married to
Emma C. Dalton and moved from Illinois to the Woodland area in 1927.  He was a
member of the Lakewood United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, LeRoy and Eldon of Woodland; two stepsons Willis Dalton
of Woodland and Raymond Dalton of Lake Odessa; 12 grandchildren and one great
grandchild; brother, William of Charlotte.

Mr. Flessner will be at the Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa until noon
Thursday when he will be taken to Lakewood United Methodist Church where
services will be at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Charles Dunbar will officiate and interment
will be at Woodland Memorial Park.
