Flessner, 78, route one, Woodland, died Wednesday at 6:12 a.m. at Pennock hospital where she had been admitted the previous evening. Mr. and Mrs. Flessner celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary December 5. She was born October 25, 1887 in Palisades, Neb., the daughter of Bert and Mary Schols Harmon, and came to Woodland from Illinois 38 years ago. Surviving besides her husband, Henry, are four sons, Raymond Dalton of Lake Odessa; Willis Dalton, Leroy Flessner and Eldon Flessner of Woodland; 12 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Harmes and Mrs. Hilda Styger of Vermontville, Mrs. Birdie Caughey of Charlotte and Mrs. Edythe Smith of Grand Ledge; one brother, Ross Harmon of Grand Ledge. Mrs. Flessner was a member of Lakewood EUB church and WSCS. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Carl Silvernail Friday afternoon at 3:30 at Pickens funeral chapel and burial will be at Woodland Memorial cemetery. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home for the cancer fund as a memorial to Mrs. Flessner.
