Lyons Herald, 3 May 1906

On Sunday Union church was filled by sympathizing friends who came to pay a 
last tribute of respect to a schoolmate and friend Mrs. Hattie Fletcher, who 
died at the hospital in Ann Arbor on Friday, where she went for an operation.  
Deceased leaves a husband, four children, an aged mother and a host of friends 
to mourn her loss.  The writer well remembers Hattie in the old school days 
with kindly sympathy.
