Ionia Sentinel, Tuesday, May 17, 1966

Donald J. Fletcher, 71, of 402 Center street, died Monday evening at Veterans 
hospital in Saginaw.

Mr. Fletcher, formerly a Lyons township farmer, became school custodian after 
moving to Ionia.  He was a member of Lyons Masonic lodge, American Legion, 
Veterans World War I, and Senior Citizens of Ionia.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie, March 1964, and one son.

Surviving are one daughter, Dorothy Fletcher of Caro, one brother, Harold of 
New Port Ritchie, Fla., and one grandchild, Karen of Minneapolis, Minn.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Muir Presbyterian church, Rev. Manson 
Lowe officiating.  Interment will be at North Plains cemetery.

His daughter, Dorothy, will be at the Estep funeral home Tuesday evening and 
Wednesday.
