The Portland Observer, Thursday, September 6, 1928

Benjamin Fletcher, aged 90 years, well known pioneer of Sebewa, died at his 
home in that township Saturday evening following a short illness.  He is 
survived by two sons, Issi Fletcher, of Sebewa, and Samuel of Oregon, and two 
daughters who also reside in Oregon.  George Fletcher of Lake Odessa is a 
brother.
