Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Minty of Grand Rapids, assisted by Rev. Tarvestadt of Clarksville, in the So. Boston Congregational church. Mrs. Fletcher had lived for 65 years on the farm now owned by Reuben Lee and was active in every cause contributing to the up-building of the community. Rearing four children of her own, she kept open house to the young people of the neighborhood and many were the pleasant evenings spent in her home. Besides the son at whose home she died, Will S. Fletcher and Mrs. Fred Harker of Lansing, and Mrs. Mose Kellar of Onandaga survive.
