Fletcher, 61, died Sunday evening at 8:30 o’clock at the University hospital, Ann Arbor, where he had been a patient since January 6. He has been seriously ill for several weeks. He was born July 21, 1881, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fletcher of North Plains township, one half mile from the farm where he had been living. He was married September 3, 1903. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Joseph Fletcher of Milan; Howard Fletcher of Pontiac and Simon Fletcher of Howell; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Goodwin of Lyons; two brothers George and Charles Fletcher, of Muir; a sister, Mrs. Ernest Ludwick of North Plains township; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the North Plains church. Rev. C.A. Brady, pastor of the Ionia Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in the North Plains cemetery. Pallbearers will be six brothers-in-law: Coral Estep, Howard Dick, Claude Eldridge, George Ross, Arthur Dick and Ernest Ludwick.
