Louis M. Fletcher, 73, a former Ionia county resident, died unexpectedly Monday 
at his office in Chicago, Ill.  He was a member of F&AM Masonic lodge at Lyons 
and Medinah temple AAONMS of Chicago.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby, the former Ruby Bradley of Lyons; a daughter, 
Jean; and one brother, Homer, of Lyons.

Masonic funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral 
home under the auspices of the Lyons Masonic lodge.  Burial will be in the 
family lot at Balcom cemetery.

Funeral was held Thursday afternoon at Myers funeral home for Louis M. 
Fletcher, 73, who died unexpectedly April 18 in Chicago.

Mr. Fletcher, son of Frank A. and Louise P. Fletcher early residents of Ionia 
county, was born in Grand Rapids, February 10, 1887 and moved to the family 
farm east of Ionia in 1896.  He married Ruby I. Bradley, of Lyons in 1915.  

At the time of his death he was president of Fletcher-Eichman and company of 
Chicago, Ill., and American Drug Industries, Chicago.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; a daughter, Jean Pauline Fletcher of Chicago, 
and a brother H. Homer Fletcher of Lyons.

Services were in charge of the Lyons Masonic lodge with Bert Fox, officiating 
master.  Interment was in the family lot at Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were H.M. 
Kelly, Elmer Hopkins, James Hopkins, Wilber H. Bennett, Frank Soper and J. F. 
Spaulding.  Members of Lyons lodge F&AM attended in a group.

Out of town persons attending were Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Bradley of Kansas City, 
Kan., Harry Bradley of Houston, Texas, Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Lantz of St. 
Louis, Mo., Lester Kulp, Paul Holderby, Mr. and Mrs. Fenwick J. Lisk and Mrs. 
Arnold Stein of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Edna Zipprodt and Joseph C. Walker, Jr., of 
Lansing; Mrs. Carl Pilkington and Mrs. Maud Lisk of Portland; Mrs. N. 
Knickerbocker and Mr. and Mrs, Louis Fletcher of Crystal, and Mr. and Mrs. John 
P. Otto, Jr., of Grand Rapids.
