Carson City Gazette, May 1987

Mrs. Marion R. Fletcher, 70, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 1987, at the Fulton
Medical Care Center.  She was a housewife in rural Muir.  Mrs. Fletcher was born
to Charles and Etta (Fitzpatrick) Wright.  She was born in North Plains
Township, in Ionia county on January 29, 1917.  She later married Raymond who
preceded her in death.  She was a lifelong Muir resident.

Also proceeding her in death was a son, Roger Fletcher.  Survivors include two
sisters, Geraldine Barker, Lake Odessa, and Ellen Mandell, Mesa, AZ.  Others
include three daughters and six sons, Rita Frayer of St. Johns, Sharon
Gensterblum Hagle of Portland, Kathleen Hearld of Palo; Gerald from Lansing,
Ronald, Terrance, Phillip, Richard and Mark, all from Muir.  She also has 25
grandchildren who survive her.

She was a member of the St. Johns Baptist Parrish Circle.  A memorial
contribution goes to the St. Johns Baptist Church Building Fund.

Funeral services were held on May 16, 1987 at the St. Johns Baptist Catholic
Church in Hubbardston.  Rev. Fr. Wm. Reitz officiated the service.  Burial was
in the St. Johns Baptist Cemetery.
