Fletcher, 79, a retired farmer, died suddenly at 6:10 p.m. Monday at his home on route two, Ionia. He was born February 16, 1879, the son of Benjamin and Mary (Cravath) Fletcher. He came to Michigan from California about 60 years ago and settled on a farm in Sebewa area, retiring several years ago. Mr. Fletcher was a member of the Sebewa church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Jessie; a daughter, Mrs. George (Mildred) Hogeboom of Springfield, Mo; two sisters, Miss Frances Fletcher and Miss Jessie Fletcher, and one brother, Samuel, all of Portland, Ore; three step-children, Frank and Sterrey Stout and Mrs. Mary Sprague of Ionia; 13 step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. The body is at Pickens funeral chapel at Lake Odessa where services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery. The Rev. J. Lawrence Ward will officiate. ---- Funeral services for Issi T. Fletcher, 79, of route two, Ionia, was held Friday at Pickens funeral home at Lake Odessa. Bearers were Clyde Stout, Francis Stout, Leon Stout, Calvin Smith, Wayne Sprague and Bruce Walkington. The Rev. J. Lawrence Ward conducted the service and burial was in Lakeside cemetery.
