Sept. 8, 1966 MRS. GEORGE FLETCHER Mrs. George Fletcher, 78, passed away Wednesday evening after a long illness. Born September 5, 1888, she was the daughter of John and Rosina Wodmansee. She had been a lifelong resident of rural Muir and a long time member of North Plains Friendship club. February 28, 1911 she married George Fletcher who survives. Others who survive are three sons; Raymond and Russell of rural Muir and Neil of Ionia; three daughters, Hazel Wright, Ionia, Wilma Dorey of Belding and Donna Piggott of Fowler; 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, on sister, Jennie Schaeffer, Ionia and a brother, Roy Woodmansee, who preceded her in death 18 days ago. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Christian church in Muir. Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Burial will be in Muir cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Estep funeral home in Muir from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 in the evening Thursday and Friday. Ionia Sentinel Standard-Mon. Sept. 12, 1966 MRS. GEORGE FLETCHER Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Christian church in Muir for Mrs. George Fletcher. Rev. Roger Wright officiated.
