MRS. GEORGE FLETCHER
Mrs. George Fletcher, 78, passed away Wednesday evening after a long illness.

Born September 5, 1888, she was the daughter of John and Rosina Wodmansee. She had 
been a lifelong resident of rural Muir and a long time member of North Plains
Friendship club. February 28, 1911 she married George Fletcher who survives.

Others who survive are three sons; Raymond and Russell of rural Muir and Neil of
Ionia; three daughters, Hazel Wright, Ionia, Wilma Dorey of Belding and Donna Piggott of
Fowler; 28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, on sister, Jennie Schaeffer, Ionia and
a brother, Roy Woodmansee, who preceded her in death 18 days ago.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Christian church in Muir. Rev. Roger
Wright officiating. Burial will be in Muir cemetery. The family  will receive friends and
relatives at the Estep funeral home in Muir from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 in the evening Thursday and
Friday.

MRS. GEORGE FLETCHER
Funeral services were Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Christian church in Muir for Mrs.
George Fletcher. Rev. Roger Wright officiated.

Bearers were Gerald Fletcher, Robert Fletcher, Ronald Fletcher, Allen Wright, Larry
Dorey and Tom Piggott. Burial was in the Muir cemetery.
