Lyons – Mrs. Florence Z. Fletcher, 50 of route 1, Muir, died Tuesday night at 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids after being transferred there from Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.

She was born December 3, 1919, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Charles Wright of Hayes road, Muir and lived all her life in North Plains 
township.

She was married February 22, 1941 to Russell Fletcher and was a member of St. 
John the Baptist Catholic church of Hubbardston and its rosary society.

Besides her husband, Russell, she leaves four sons, Robert of Muir, Paul of 
Muskegon, Gary of Westphalia and George at home; four daughters, Mrs. Marsha 
Barnes of Lansing, Carol, Sally and Frances at home; nine grandchildren; one 
brother, Merle Wright of rural Muir; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Anderson, Mrs. 
Marion Fletcher of Muir and Mrs. Geraldine Barker of Lake Odessa.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic 
church at Hubbardston.  Rev. Eugene R. Fox will officiate and interment will 
be at the church cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Thursday and Friday at 8 pm at Estep funeral home north 
of Muir.

Bearers will be Ronald and Terrence Fletcher of Muir, Gerald Fletcher of 
Lyons, Joseph Wright of Hubbardston, William and Donald Barker of Lake Odessa.
