Lake Odessa Wave - October 10, 1946
          MRS. FLETCHER DIED TUESDAY
   Mrs. Eretta Knoll Fletcher, widow of George Y. Fletcher, deceased, died early
Tuesday morning from a heart 
attack.  She had been subject to such attacks but recntly lad been free from them. 
On Sunday she had 
walked to the cemetery in the afternoon and had gone fishing Monday afternoon.
   Not feeling well in the evening, she persuaded Mrs. Mary Slosson, a neighbor tor
main overnight with her 
and so was with her when she died at about 5 o'clock Tuesday morning.
   She was 77 years of age July 17.  She was married to George Y. Fletcher in 1901
and has lived here ever 
since.  She was a member of the Congregational church and had been president of the
Lake Odessa Woman's 
Christian Temperance union for several years.
   She leaves one sister Mrs. Julia Estep at Hickory Corners, several nieces and
nephews.
   The funeral will be held at her home on Jordan Lake avenue today at 2.  burial
will be in Lakeside cmetery 
with the Rev. William B. Patterson officiating.
