Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

Gordon & Glennis Fletcher
Glennis Ann (Jackson) Fletcher born April 3,1932, passed November 15, 2021-89 
yrs,from a stroke.
Gordon "Mac" MacDonald Fletcher born Dec. 25,1925, passed November 16, 2021-
93yr, a few hours later.
Neither one knew the other had passed.
Both grew up in Belding. Were married September 5, 1953,Moved to Belmont. 
Surviving are their four children,Melanie Brown (Bernie Konkle), Kim Fletcher 
(Robert Baker), Dan Fletcher (Cindy) and Gordon Fletcher Jr..
Also their grandchildren,Erin, Blake, Ryan (Michelle) Fletcher.
& Glennis's "tribe"; Janet Thomas (Ernie), Edward Jackson (Alice), Howard 
Jackson (Lois),Ron Jackson (Sherry), Karen Rydahl (Eugene), and Pam Schwallier 
(Paul) along with nieces & Nephews & special niece Tam.
Mac was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison & Hazel Fletcher & brother 
Bill.
Glennis was preceded in death by her parents Sherman & Lucille Jackson, sister-
in-law Judy Jackson & son-in-law Steve Brown.
Glennis went to college in the 40's & worked in accounting alongside her sister 
Pam.
Mac worked at General Motors for 35 years. The two bought & sold antiques in 
their retirement years.
Their interest in history & Nature ld them to historic sites, museums & battle 
fields.
They spent summers at Elk Lake with family at White Cottage.
Cremation has taken place, handled by Peterson Funeral Home in Rockford.
