The Ionia Standard, Friday, June 18, 1897


Mary A. Fletcher, wife of Thomas J. Fletcher, of South Ionia, died Thursday 
morning, aged 79 years.  She was one of the staid old residents of the county, 
and one who had, and whose life work merited, many friends.  She was an 
invalid for several years, and for the two years last past she was helpless.
