B. Fletcher died Friday, June 6, at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Herbert Chase, after an illness of nearly ten weeks. Funeral services were held at the home Monday, June 9, Rev. W. D. Ogg officiating., burial in South Boston cemetery. Carolina M. Clark was born at Sylvan, Washtenaw county, Michigan, March 24, 1843, the fifth child of Curtis and Malinda Clark, and died June 6, 1913. Her girlhood home was spent in South Boston. At the age of 22 years she was married to Jerome B. Fletcher, whose death occurred three years ago last March, and to this union was born one child, Eunice L., who survives. She also leaves nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors. The last of her family to be taken by death, has gone from among us. A kind neighbor was “Aunt Cal,” a helper in time of trouble. She was loved and will be missed by all. Ten long weeks of suffering made her long for death, but she bore it all with patience, knowing the end would be rest. Relatives from outside attending the funeral of Mrs. J. B. Andrews, Mrs. Augusta Houser, Mrs. Hattie Andrews and daughter, all of Lowell, Mrs. Zelma Fletcher and son Garth of Saranac and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Layer of Cascade.
