Again the people of So. Boston have been reminded that there is but a step betwixt them and death. Louis Fletcher was buried here on Friday. A large portion of his life had been spent in this locality, but the last few years of his life was spent at Sand Lake. But a short time previous to his death he sold out and was preparing to come back to Boston, when disease laid hold of him, and in a short time, (to use the language of Elder Turner’s text) “one is not.” A large number of his relatives were present, among them were Mrs. E. W. Tucker and Mr. Levi Fletcher from Indianapolis, Mr. Elson Fletcher, Mr. Erb, and others from Grand Rapids, Jude Fletcher and family from Sand Lake, Jesse Fletcher and other strangers whom your Cor. did not know.
