Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Sep 1993

Kenneth A. Flint, 65, of 2096 N. State Road, Ionia died Saturday at his
residence.  He was born Nov. 12, 1927, in Sheridan, the son of Eber and Maggie
Sebring Flint.  He was a longtime resident of Ionia.  He made Christmas toys for
the Ionia Community Christmas Project for the past 40 years.  He married the
former Mae Hanline on May 31, 1946, in Ashton.

He retired from Fisher Body in Lansing in 1987.  He was a member of the D.A.V.,
having been a Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife; his children, Joy and Alvin Flick of Dearborn, Dan
and Judy Flint of DeWitt, and Craig and Karen Flint of Belding; 10
grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine Palmer of
California.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Stebbins & Simpson Funeral
home, Sheridan, with the Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  Cremation has taken
place.  Memorials have been established for the Ionia Community Christmas
Project and the Ionia Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
