Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Feb. 6, 1978

IONIA- Services for Lavina Grace Flores, 45, of 310 Welton street, who died in 
a fire at her home early Saturday morning were Monday at 2 pm from the Leddick 
funeral home with Rev. Ronald Dow of First Christian church officiating. 

Organist was Mrs. Josephine Barna. 

Committal services were held at the funeral home with burial in Balcom cemetery.

Mrs. Flores was born in Ionia April 1, 1932 and attended Ionia schools.

She married Manuel Flores, Jr., November 3, 1953 at First Christian church in 
Ionia and they  had lived in Ionia all their married life.

She was a member of First Christian church of Ionia.

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Don and Neta Erridge of Ionia; 
her husband; one son, Don Gable of Gowen; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) 
Griffith of Ionia and JoAnn Flores of Ionia and three grandchildren.

Following services, luncheon was prepared and served to family and friends at 
First Christian church in Ionia.
