The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, August 30, 1967

Ethel Flowers, 83, lifelong resident of Portland died Tuesday.  She was born 
July 13, 1884 in Portland and in recent years made her home with her niece and 
family, Mr. and Mrs. Gladwin Knapp at 729 Brush street in Portland.  Mrs. 
Knapp is her nearest surviving relative.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland 
with Rev. Raymond L. Norton officiating.  Interment will be in Portland 
cemetery.
