Services Held For David N. Flowers

David N. Flowers, 66, route one, Woodland, passed away early Wednesday at 
St.Lawrence hospital, Lansing where he was admitted Saturday after taken ill 
while at work at the Fisher Body Division.

A native of Memphis, Tenn. he had resided at Detroit and was a resident of Holt 
for twelve years while employed as a machinist at Fisher Body before moving here 
to his home six months ago where he planned to live after his retirement.

Mr.Flowers was a member of the O.K. Houck Lodge No. 707 F&AM.

Surviving are his wife, Wava whom he married 16 years ago; a step-daughter, 
Mrs.Ethel Tippy of Lansing; a step-son Russell Messer of Mulliken; six 
grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Parthena Flowers and a half-sister Mrs.Elizabeth 
Fitzgerald both of Kenton, Tenn.

Funeral services were held Friday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Rev. Luther Brokaw officiated.
