James A. Fockler, 51, of Ionia, passed away on Tuesday, Feb.  16, 2010.  He was
born on Feb.  15, 1959, in Ionia the son of Benjamin and June (Roche) Fockler.

Surviving are his siblings, Dan (Carol) Fockler of Sunfield, Penny (Dale) Jarman
of Orleans, and Mark Fockler of Long Lake; several nieces and nephews.  He was
preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Della Fockler.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb.  19, 2010, at the
Schrauben-Lehman funeral homes, Ionia Chapel with Rev. Kendall Harger
officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m.
until the time of the service on Friday.  Interment will take place in the
spring at Balcom Cemetery.  For those desiring, memorial contributions may be
made to the American Diabetes Foundation in memory of Mr. James A.Fockler.
