The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 22, 1904


Martin P. Follett, well known here and in Montcalm county in early days, and 
remembered by every member who went out with 21st infantry, as quartermaster 
and suttler, died at his home in Chicago, July 13, aged 84 years.
