Sentinel-Std. - Saturday, July 10, 1965

Mrs. Bernice L. Font, 59, wife of Alfred Font of 7524 Fase street SE, Ada, died 
Friday afternoon following a lingering illness.

Born June 27, 1906, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Wright of 
Clarksville, and had lived in Ada 13 years.

She is a member of Eastern Mount Baptist church.

Surviving besides her husband and parents are two daughters, Ms. Doris Kennedy 
of New Jersey, Mrs. Joanne Woodard of Reading, one brother, Lester Wright of 
Ypsilanti, two sisters, Mrs. Francis Heaven of Ypsilanti and Mrs. Eleanor 
Beukema of Clarksville, six grandchildren. 

Funeral service will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Boynton funeral home with the Rev. 
Wayne Woodard (unreadable word). Burial will be at Balcom cemetery.
