The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, July 9, 1965
Rev. Ray R. Fassett of Evangelical United Brethren church officiated at 
funeral service Thursday afternoon for Floyd D. Font, 59, who died Tuesday 
morning at Ionia County Memorial hospital.  Mr. Font resided at 231 Miller 
street.  Bearers were Fred M. Kidd, Jr., Robert Beckhorn, Harry O. Burke, 
Bruno Salazar, Roy Ward and Elijah Ward.  Burial was at Balcom cemetery.  

Relatives attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Font and 
Patricia of Long Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Forist and Teresa of Ligonier, 
Indiana, Mrs. Captola Riggs of Anaheim, California, Bronson Font of San Diego, 
California, Mrs. Sandra Atchison and Alfred Font of Ada, Mrs. Olive Tracy of 
Grandville, Mrs. Fred Meeder and Fred Meeder, Jr., of Grand Rapids, Rev. Wayne 
Woodard of Niles, Mr. and Mrs. Don Comer and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Comer of 
Palo.
