Arvilla Grace Foote, 79, of Greenville, died at home Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006. 
She was born July 17, 1927, in Otisco Township, Belding, the daughter of Morris
and Elizabeth King Powell.  She was a graduate of Belding High School with the
class of 1945 and was a member of Cleveland Wolverton VFW Post Auxiliary in
Greenville.  She married George Foote in Belding on April 16, 1948.  

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Hankis, Mary Case and Jane
Sorensen.  She is survived by her husband, George; their son, Thomas and Carolyn
Foote of Greenville; grandchildren, Rocky Foote and Kittie Sue Alvarado;
great-granddaughters, Crystal and Charlene; great-great-grandchildren, Gage and
Reese; sister, Eva Smith of Potterville; brothers, Lester and Sally Powell,
Darwin and Judy Powell, all of Belding; brothers-in-law, Richard Sorensen,
William Foote, both of Greenville, Mike and Marga Foote of California;
sister-in-law, Mary Jane Peterman of Greenville; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with
the Rev. Ken Harger officiating.  Burial is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens,
Belding.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  Memorial
contributions may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
