Mrs. Aretha R. Force died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, in Belding city hospital
after being admitted Wednesday evening.  She was 46 years old.  Mrs. Force was
born in Greenville, Oct.  18, 1902, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kesselring.
 She was a resident of the Seeley neighborhood for about 18 years.  Her husband,
the late DeForrest Force, died in 1946.  She was an active member of the Belding
Church of God.

Surviving are her parents; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Stiles of Belding route 2; a
son, Howard, at home; a sister, Mrs. Ivah Boyce of Greenville; four brothers
Leslie, Harold, Donald and Roy, all of Greenville; one grandchild; and her
mother-in-law, Mrs. Iva Force.

The remains are at the Fitzjohn funeral home in Belding.  Sunday the body will
be removed to the Church of God at 2 p.m. and funeral services will be conducted
there at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Kirby.  Interment will be in the family lot at
Otisco cemetery.
