Iva Ann Ford, 75, of Evergreen Trailer Park, Ionia, died Friday evening at 
Montgomery nursing home.

She was born February 6, 1898, in Ionia County, the daughter of Bert and Emma 
Merritt. She married Charles Houghton, March 24, 1915, who died July 1960. She 
married Albert Ford, October 8, 1961, and he died January 1965.

Mrs. Ford was a resident of Ionia County most of her life, living seven years 
in Nashville. She was a member of the LeValley Methodist church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Leo Andres of Ionia; and one son, Russell 
Houghton of Lake City; three sisters, Jennie Welch of Nashville, Elsie Deemer 
of Hale and Vera Frost of Muskegon; seven grandchildren and several great 
grandchildren. 

Services will be Monday at Myers-Roetman funeral home at 2 pm. Burial will be 
in Balcom cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 pm, and Sunday from 
2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
