Foreman, 81, of 505 Jones died early Wednesday morning at the Ionia Manor where she has been a patient the past three years. Born in Ionia May 4, 1893, she was the daughter of Edward and Hattie Wood Wedge. She attended schools in Ionia and was married December 26, 1914, to Wilbur D. Foreman. They made their home in Elkhart, Ind., and Portland before returning to Ionia where they lived most of their married life. He died March 12, 1962. She was a member of the First Baptist church, the CCW class and Mission society of the church and was a member of the Blue Star Mothers. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Culver and Genevieve Foreman of Ionia; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Frances Malokofsky. A son Charles Foreman was killed in the Philippines during World War II. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Leddick funeral home. Rev. Roy A. Pitts of First Baptist church will officiate and interment will be at the Highland Park cemetery. A memorial has been established for the CCW class. The family will be at the funeral home Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9.
