Ionia Sentinel – 30 July 1979
Freda I. Forist, 29, of 810 Front St., Belding died early Sunday as the result 
of an automobile accident in Ionia Township.  She was an employee of Gibson’s 
in Greenville.  She is survived by her husband, Mike Forist of Pierson, Mi.; 
one son, Michael B. Forist II at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jeffrey 
of Fenwick; her grandmother, Mrs. Millie Jeffrey of Fenwick; her step-
grandfather, Vern Winright of Belding; her great grandmother, Mrs. Amy Pardee; 
her great stepfather, David Pardee; two brothers, Fred Jeffrey of Fenwick and 
William Jeffrey of Belding.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 pm at the Stebbins-Simpson 
Funeral Home in Sheridan with Pastor Kenneth Martin officiating.  Burial will 
be in Green Corners Cemetery in Belding.  Family will meet friends and 
relatives this afternoon from 2-4pm and tonight from 7-8:30 pm.
