Michael B. “Bart” Forist II, 33, of Greenville, passed away, Friday, April 22, 
2011 in Greenville. He was born Oct. 2, 1977 in Sheridan, the son of Michael 
and Freda (Jeffery) Forist.

Michael is survived by his step-mother, Laura Forist of Orleans; brothers and 
sisters Michelle (Duane Spicer, Michalean (Mike) McGraw, Donna Jo (Brent) 
Forist-Starks, and Bradley Forist of Ionia, Lois Jones, Machel Jones and 
Matthew Forist of Orleans, Bridget (Dana) Forist-Gilley of Carson City and Rob 
Lowden of Greenville; grandmother Vivian Jeffery; and by his nieces, nephews, 
aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Freda Forist and his 
grandfather, Fred Jeffery. 

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Marshall 
Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Kenneth Martin officiating. Visitation 
will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Burial will be in Greene 
Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you make contributions in 
Michael’s name to the family for family expenses.
