Lake Odessa Wave-Wedneday August 19, 1981

LOIS M. FORMAN
LAKE ODESSA - Lois M. Forman, 53, of Route 2, Lake Odessa, died aug. 13, at Kent 
Community Hospital.

She was born April 25, 1928, at Lake, the daughter of Covert and Edna Carpenter.

She graduated froM Lake Odessa High School in 1945 and was employed at Chrysler 
corp. until her retirement in 1974.

She was a member of the Central Methodist Church, Lake Odessa.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; three sons, Robert Brook of Middleville, 
Richard Brooks, of Nashville, and Terry Brooks, of Charlotte; one step-son, Gale 
Forman, of Lansing; three step-daughters, Mrs.Karen Cawley, of Lansing. Mrs. 
Sheliah Chonard, of Lansing, and Opel Forman of Lansing; her parents, Mr and Mrs 
Covert Carpenter; a brother, Jerry Carpenter; four sisters, Mrs.Clare (Betty) 
Torry of Jackson, Mrs. Beth Tubbs of Lansing, Mrs.Harold (Beverly) Warner of 
Lake Odessa; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 15 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel with the Rev. 
George Speas officiating.

Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery.
