Forquer, 19, of Eagle, died November 20 as a result of injuries sustained while working on a helicopter at Shaw AFB, S.C. He has been serving with the airforce the past year. Born in Lansing May 19, 1956, he was a graduate of Portland high school with the class of 1974. Among his survivors are his wife, the former Diane Burnham; father, Larry Forquer of Jacksonville, Fla., mother, Mrs. Shirley Campbell of Tolleson, Ariz.; brother, Mark Forquer and sister, Tammy Forquer of Tolleson and half sister, Tina Campbell of Tolleson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Forquer of Eagle and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Conklin of Lansing; great grandfather, Ellis Gyer of Lansing. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Neller funeral home at Portland. Rev. Harold Homer of the Portland United Methodist church will officiate and interment will be at the North Eagle cemetery. Full military services will be under the auspices of the Wurtsmith AFB ceremonial team from Oscoda.
